The Stamford and Rutland Photographic Society held their Digital Projected Image competition in March with the theme of Yellow. The competition was judged by Gareth Gough who had a difficult job due to the high quality of the 48 images entered into the competition. The final results showed a diverse range of subjects and photographic techniques.
Andy Hunting dominated the competition with a range of pictures that showcased his travels and a range of bold yellow objects

First Place – Red Rock Canyon
Veronica Watson was 2nd with a mixture of flowers and easter chickens that showed excellent composition and imagination

Second Place – You’re Late
Gordon Brown was 3rd with a collection of wonderful underwater images showcasing clever lighting in difficult conditions

Third Place – Big Eye
St.John Burkett was 4th with a range of different yellows. These included an image of a dew-spangled flower in which he had immaculately captured the details

Fourth Place – Flower Dew
